Beth and family, we share your loss of a fine individual, and a close friend. I am so sorry I was unable to get back in time to visit Jeep when I found out he had been taken back to the hospital for the last time. I received a call while on the road that he had found a better place to reside. Our family thanks your family for the memorial contributions to our Jodi's memorial scholarship. That just proves the type of man he was; always willing to help others. Together, we will be able to help Cowley County students for many years to come. God bless you and yours.

We have been in Arkansas City 31 years this week. One of the first couples to welcome us was Jeep & Beth. They invited us to their home more than once and included our son Scott in activities with their boys. They tried to make card players of us but we couldn't get serious enough about it! Jeep always had a way of making you feel like you were special to him. He remembered little details about you even if several weeks passed without you crossing paths. May God bless all of you who are missing him so deeply right now. Praise God that He has Jeep with Him now and that He can provide comfort.

Beth & Boys,
I am sorry to hear of Jeep's passing but want you to know what a positive influence he had on me growing up in A.C. He was always involved with the teens at church; going on camping trips, fishing at McClaskeys, camp in Sedan, volleyball & basketball at the Apco clubhouse, taking us hunting and being a person we could look up to and emulate. Always positive, always smiling, always caring. What a great legacy to leave behind! He will be fondly remembered and missed.

What a tremendous blessing it was to share a friendship with Jeep. He was the greatest man and will leave such a hole in the lives he touched. He also leaves such a legacy in that he shared his wisdom and gifts with his sons and grandchildren. I wish he could have stayed forever, but Heaven's lucky to have him. Our deepest sympathy to you all.

I will miss Jeep so much! He was so special to me and I cherished every minute with him. He was a great role model and would give the shirt off his back for anyone. I looked up to him and grasped onto every bit of wisdom he was always sharing. He will always have a place in my heart. Aunt Beth and family, I love you all and together we can be strong!

Dear Beth:
Jeep and I shared many great experiences, school, boy scouts, especially boy scouts.
I know mom and dad, when you lived next door to them thought you two were the greatest in the world.
Wish I could take away the hurt.
